Frequently asked questions

When do I need a sewage pump with a cutter?

When the wastewater comes from toilets and carries paper, fibres and large solids, and the outlet pipe is narrow. The cutter on the Conforto TR shreds the solids so the pipe does not clog.

Vortex or channel impeller?

A vortex impeller (VRX, KV) sits back from the flow and passes large solids with less risk of clogging. A channel impeller (GXV, KM) is more efficient and suits steady wastewater and sludge.

Are they suitable for a septic tank?

Yes. The heavy-duty KM and KV ranges pump sludge and heavily polluted water from septic tanks, treatment plants and sewer pits.
